wheat and gluten free
group 7 foods’ products were created by a dad who wanted healthy, tasty things for his young daughter with Celiac disease to eat. All of our products are and will always be Elsa approved: completely free of wheat and gluten and tasty.
Note on Buckwheat: Many of our products do contain ‘buckwheat’ or ‘beech wheat’, which is actually a healthy seed. While it can be used like wheat, this grain bares no relations to wheat whatsoever.
Elsa liked the Brownie Butter so much she wanted to take it to school. As a result, we also recognized the need for our products to also be peanut free, as it is one of the more prevalent allergies and one of the most severe for those who suffer from them.
In addition to being wheat, gluten, and peanut free, our products are also dairy and soy free. The majority of our products are actually free of 7 of the 8 major allergens, the lone exception being tree nuts. Many of our products contain various forms of coconut, which is classified as a tree nut, and several of our 2 Go products contain almonds.
no artificial preservatives
No -oses, no -ates. Aside from a small amount of lemon juice and a bit kosher salt, we do use no other preservatives. We do not add any artificial preservatives, stabilizers, thickeners, flavors or colors to our products. period.
no refined white sugars
The primary sweeteners we use are natural sources like dates, maple syrup, molasses, coconut palm sugar, and raw turbinado sugar. Never white refined sugar.
